Zhenhuan Zhao is an associate professor of the School of Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology at Xidian University. He received his Ph.D. from the State Key Laboratory of Crystal Materials at Shandong University in 2015 under the supervision of Prof. Hong Liu and continued his postdoctoral research at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and the University of Houston from 2015 to 2017. He was a visiting scholar in Prof. Nianqiang Wu’s group at West Virginia University from 2012 to 2013. His research mainly focuses on plasmonic enhanced photo(electro)catalysis and POCT biosensors. He serves as an Associate Editor for ECS Sensors Plus and also on the Editorial Board of Applied Research.

Ajit Khosla

Ajit Khosla is a Huashan Distinguished Professor of the School of Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology at Xidian University. He is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, an adjunct professor at Yamagata University in Japan, and a visiting professor at Prince Songka University in Thailand. He has published more than 180 academic papers, published 5 monographs, and authorized 5 US patents. He was the founding editor-in-chief of ECS Sensors Plus, a member of the board of directors of the American Electrochemical Society ECS, chairman of the sensor branch, and a technical editor of the ECS academic journal. He is the chairman and founder of the ICTSGS International Academic Conference and 4DMS+SoRo Annual Academic Conference. He is also the editor of IEEE and IET academic journals. His research field involves multi-disciplinary intersections, focusing on micro nanomanufacturing of chemical and biological sensing systems.

Yanping Liang

Yanping Liang is a professor of the School of Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology at Xidian University. She received her Ph.D. from Northwest University. She has been engaged in the research and teaching of functional materials and applied electrochemistry for a long time. She has presided over or participated in more than 10 scientific research projects at the provincial and ministerial level, and has won the Excellent Science and Technology Youth Award of the Ministry of Mechanical and Electronics Industry, the third prize of the Guanghua Fund Award of the National Science and Technology Commission, the first Shaanxi Science and Technology Star, the first Shaanxi Youth Science and Technology Award, one third prize of the National Invention Award, two third prizes of the Ministry of Mechanical and Electronics Industry for Science and Technology Progress, two national invention patents, and one Chinese patent excellence award. Her research mainly focuses on the design and preparation of photocatalyst film materials, the research on electrochemical and chemical deposition technology and application of material surface, the preparation and application of ordered nano metal structures, and the functional properties of conductive polymer composites.

Lixia Zhu

Lixia Zhu is a professor of the School of Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology at Xidian University. She received her Ph.D. from Qinghai Salt Lake Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 1988 to 2004, she was engaged in salt lake chemistry research at Qinghai Salt Lake Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and has been transferred to Xi’an University of Electronic Science and Technology since 2005. Her research mainly focuses on the preparation, structure, and performance research of inorganic functional materials.

Xiaoxia Bai

Xiaoxia Bai is an associate professor of the School of Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology at Xidian University. She received her Ph.D. from the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014, and continued her postdoctoral research at Xi’an Jiaotong University (2014-2016). She was an exchange Ph.D. student at Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung in Germany (2012-2013). Her research mainly focuses on plasmonic nanomaterials for solar energy conversion, corrosion, and protection of electronic devices and sustainability.

Lijun Zhou

Lijun Zhou is an associate professor of the School of Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology at Xidian University. She received her Ph.D. from Northwest University. Her research mainly focuses on the magnetism, luminescence, catalysis, and adsorption properties of MOF materials, the preparation of new MOF composite materials, and the application of new MOF catalytic materials in environmental governance and organic synthesis. As a major member, she participated in a youth program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and as a major contributor, she participated in three general programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, two provincial natural science funds, and one key scientific research fund of the Ministry of Education. She won the first prize of Shaanxi Science and Technology Award and the first prize of the Shaanxi University Science and Technology Award in 2008.Northwest University

Hui Zhang

Hui Zhang is a lecture of School of Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology at Xidian University. He received his PhD from Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS). He was awarded a joint scholarship by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Taiwan of China (MOST) in the Research and Practice Summer Training Program, and was an exchange scholar at the Department of Chemistry, National Taiwan University. He was awarded the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Nature et technologies (FRQNT) Quebec Excellent Doctoral Fellowship, the UNESCO President’s Fellowship and the MATECSS Outstanding Doctoral Fellowship. He is mainly engaged in the controllable preparation of quantum dots and their applications in photoelectrochemical hydrogen production, nanothermometers and nanomaterials for electrochemical energy storage.

Her research mainly focuses on the preparation and application of new titanium-based metal oxide-coated electrodes, the preparation of anodic electrocatalysts for alcohol fuel cells, and the construction of enzyme electrodes for biofuel cells.
